Claude Connector

Syntroper's MCP (Model Context Protocol) server lets you connect your Syntroper workspace to Claude so you can access and manage your diagrams directly from the conversation interface.

With this integration, you can:

Browse and search diagrams across all your workspaces and folders

Open interactive diagram viewers with a single click

Create new diagrams from natural language descriptions

Edit existing diagrams using conversational instructions

Navigate workspace hierarchies and paginate through large collections

Example prompts:

"Show me all my diagrams"

"Find my onboarding flowchart"

"Create a diagram showing our API authentication flow"

"Edit my system architecture diagram to add a Redis caching layer"

Requirements

Before connecting, make sure you have the following:

An active Syntroper account

Claude desktop app (macOS or Windows)oraccess to Claude.ai with integrations enabled

A modern browser that allows OAuth pop-ups

Connecting with Claude

Syntroper's MCP server supports Claude desktop and Claude.ai via the standard MCP connector flow.

Claude Desktop App

Open Claude and click the + icon

Scroll down to connectors and click Add connectors

Search for Syntroper for claude click Connect

A Syntroper login page will open in your browser — sign in and clickAllow

Return to Claude — Syntroper will appear as a connected integration

Once connected, Claude will automatically use the Syntroper integration when you ask about your diagrams in any conversation.

If you see a "Not authorized" or "401" error:

Make sure you are signing in with the correct Syntroper account

Check that your Syntroper account is active and not suspended

Ensure your browser did not block the OAuth pop-up during authorization

Connection issue

If Claude cannot reach the Syntroper MCP server:

Verify your internet connection is active

Try removing and re-adding the integration from Claude Settings

No diagrams returned

If Claude connects successfully but returns no diagrams:

Confirm you have diagrams saved in your Syntroper account

Try specifying a workspace:"Show diagrams in my Engineering workspace"

Check that the correct Syntroper account was used during authorization
